Wipro is hiring experienced professionals for the role of Backend Developer 2026. This role is ideal for candidates who have strong backend development experience and are passionate about building scalable and high-performance applications.
As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining server-side logic and APIs. You will work closely with frontend developers, DevOps teams, and project managers to deliver robust software solutions.
The role involves developing RESTful APIs, integrating databases, optimizing performance, and ensuring security and scalability of applications. You will also be responsible for debugging issues, writing clean code, and participating in code reviews.
Candidates should have hands-on experience in backend technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, or Node.js and should be comfortable working with databases and cloud-based environments.

Requirements

🔹 Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of Java / Node.js / Python (any one)

Experience with Spring Boot / Express.js frameworks

Understanding of REST API development

Database knowledge (MySQL / PostgreSQL / MongoDB)

Familiarity with microservices architecture

Knowledge of Git and version control systems

Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure)
