A Personal Support Worker (PSW) plays a crucial role in the healthcare system by providing direct, hands-on care and daily support to patients, elderly individuals, and persons living with disabilities. 📌 Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care assistance to patients, including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, and maintaining hygiene to ensure dignity and comfort.
• Assist with mobility support and safe patient handling, including transferring patients, helping them walk, and preventing fall-related risks.
• Support patients with feeding and nutrition assistance, ensuring they receive proper meals according to dietary instructions and medical needs.
• Observe and monitor patient conditions, including physical, emotional, and behavioral changes, and promptly report any concerns to nurses or doctors.
• Offer consistent emotional support and companionship, helping patients cope with stress, loneliness, or anxiety during treatment or recovery.
