DataWave Solutions Inc. is actively hiring Remote Data Analysts / Business Intelligence (BI) Specialists to support strategic, data-driven decision-making across multiple business units.

As a Remote Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in transforming raw data into meaningful insights that help management teams make informed decisions. You will work with structured and unstructured datasets, build dashboards, generate reports, and provide analytical recommendations to internal stakeholders and global clients.

Key Responsibilities

1️⃣ Data Collection & Cleaning

• Gather data from multiple internal and external sources including databases, APIs, spreadsheets, and cloud systems

• Clean, validate, and standardize datasets to ensure accuracy and reliability

• Identify inconsistencies, missing values, and anomalies in data

2️⃣ Dashboard & Report Development

• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or Looker

• Create automated reports that track KPIs and business metrics

• Present visual insights in easy-to-understand formats for non-technical stakeholders

3️⃣ Data Analysis & Insights

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, correlations, and performance gaps

• Perform statistical analysis to support forecasting and predictive modeling

• Provide actionable recommendations to improve business performance, operational efficiency, and revenue growth

4️⃣ Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with product managers, marketing teams, operations teams, and executives

• Define data requirements and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Translate business needs into analytical queries and reporting frameworks

5️⃣ Automation & Optimization

• Automate reporting processes using SQL, Python, or BI tools

• Build reusable data models and scripts

• Optimize queries and workflows for better performance

6️⃣ Data Governance & Security

• Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all reports

• Follow best practices for data privacy and compliance

• Maintain proper documentation of data sources and methodologies

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

✅ Experience

• 2–5 years of experience in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, or Analytics roles

• Experience working with structured databases and large datasets

✅ Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in SQL (advanced queries, joins, aggregations)

• Working knowledge of Python for data analysis (Pandas, NumPy preferred)

• Expertise in Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar BI tools

• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, dashboards)
