Role & Responsibilities

As a Cloud Solutions Engineer at Google, you will design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions for enterprise clients. You will ensure scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud deployments, collaborating with global teams to optimize cloud performance and deliver innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Architecture & Deployment: Design and implement cloud infrastructure using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, and BigQuery.
Automation & CI/CD: Develop automated deployment pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or Cloud Deployment Manager.
Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor cloud systems, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resources for cost, performance, and reliability.
Security & Compliance: Implement best practices for cloud security, identity management, and data protection in compliance with GDPR and ISO standards.
Collaboration: Work with developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers to integrate cloud solutions with applications and services.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain architecture documentation, cloud deployment guides, and operational runbooks.
Agile Environment: Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to deliver cloud solutions iteratively and efficiently.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in cloud solutions, cloud engineering, or DevOps roles

Hands-on experience with GCP, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Functions, and BigQuery

Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager, or Ansible)

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration

Understanding of cloud networking, security best practices, and identity management

Familiarity with monitoring tools like Stackdriver, Prometheus, or Grafana

Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and attention to detail

Excellent English communication skills for international collaboration

Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud architectures is a plus
