About Recruitment
Delhi Police Constable role includes maintaining law and order, patrolling, traffic management, public safety, and assisting senior officers in enforcement duties.
🔹 Major Roles & Responsibilities:
Patrolling assigned areas, responding to emergency calls
Assisting in crime prevention, investigation, and evidence collection
Crowd management and traffic regulation
Reporting daily activities and incidents to senior officers
Participating in training programs and drills
Maintaining discipline and following departmental orders
🔹 Work Environment:
Outdoor duty, shift-based schedule including nights, weekends, and public holidays
Exposure to high-pressure situations and emergency response
🔹 Major Roles & Responsibilities:

- 🔹 Stage 1: Written Examination / CBT
- Objective type exam
- Subjects: General Knowledge, Maths, Reasoning, English/Hindi
- Duration: 2 hours
- Marks: 100
- 🔹 Stage 2: Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
- Height:
- Male: Minimum 170 cm
- Female: Minimum 157 cm
- Chest (Male): 81 cm (5 cm expansion)
- Weight: Proportionate to height
- 🔹 Stage 3: Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Running / Long Jump / High Jump / Push-ups / Sit-ups
- Standard:
- Male: 1.6 km in 6 min
- Female: 800 m in 4 min
- 🔹 Stage 4: Medical Examination
- Full medical fitness mandatory
- Eye sight, hearing, and general health checked
- 🔹 Stage 5: Final Merit List
- Based on written exam + PMT/PET + medical
